Cut & Paste

...a very useful tool

.
You can copy and paste words on your screen from one place to another.  This also converts words into plain text that can be saved as a TXT file that can easily be used by a word processor or e-mail program. This is especially handy for long Internet and e-mail addresses because they are awkward to type.

1. Whenever you copy or cut something it goes to the clipboard. Whatever is copied or cut stays in the clipboard until you turn the computer off or copy or cut something else. Text must be highlighted to be copied or cut. Press and hold down the left mouse button to highlight text.

2. You can use the right mouse button OR keystrokes to cut and paste.  If you don't like using keyboard shortcuts for cutting, copying, and pasting text when no "Edit" menu bar is present, you may not have to do so. Right-clicking on most any text box or text area brings up a pop-up menu where you can cut, copy, paste, delete, or select all text, as well as undo the last text operation.
